@abdimarihotmarbun: Who taught the Church to sing? Today is the feast of St. Gregory the Great. He was pope in Rome around the year 600. The story says a dove sang into his ear, and he wrote down every note so every church could sing the same song. That music still carries his name: Gregorian chant. So when you hear a choir sing at Mass, or a candle flickers during a hymn, that is Gregory's gift from long ago. This is a feast day song from Saintlings, sung by a children's choir, made for the day the Church remembers him. Catholic songs for kids, one saint at a time, made by a Catholic family. The Saintlings app is free on the App Store. Saint stories, sing-along songs, prayers and games for Catholic families. No ads, no chat, just saints credit video IG reels saintlingsapp
