@landry..michelle: September is suicide prevention month…as a mental health advocate I want to raise awareness of what depression can look like. I was at one of my lowest points in this photo…hard to believe, but I was struggling with ideations that day. People that struggle with depression won’t show you what they are feeling on the inside. Ever. There are other signs to look into to recognize what could be going on. Moral of the story is that just because someone is smiling, does not mean that they are ok. Depression comes in waves. Be there for your people. Let them know that you are there. You are never alone. “But in the end it is only a passing thing, this shadow; even darkness must pass.” - Mithrandir💜🩵
