People need to secure their home with deadbolt going through the floor and the upper frame. They can't access them , because they dont use a key and they can't open the door. They work great. We also had the film put on our windows just in case they want to smash their way in.

Get a guard dog . They are great protectors and companions . Just make sure you put up beware of dog signs anywhere a potential intruder could enter your property for legal and liability reasons and if you can find signs that are multi lingual and clearly posted
