This reminds us that even in the darkest and most challenging times, God is with us, and He is our comfort and our guide. As it's written in (Romans 8:38-39) "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Jesus explained that His disciples were like wedding guests with the bridegroom—there is a time for celebration. He then spoke about new wine and new wineskins, teaching that His coming brings something new and that we must have hearts ready to receive it. “New wine must be poured into fresh wineskins.” (Luke 5:38) Reflection: Today’s Gospel reminds us that Jesus calls us to become new in Him. Sometimes we hold tightly to our old ways, habits, or fears, but Jesus wants to transform our hearts. We should be open to His grace and allow Him to guide us toward a new life filled with faith, love, and hope. When we truly let Jesus into our hearts, He can make us new. 📖 Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 37:3–4, 5–6, 27–28, 39–40 “Trust in the Lord and do good.” Prayer 🙏: Heavenly Father, help us open our hearts to the new life You offer us through Jesus.
