@amberbalcaen10: I coined the term “Optimal Delusion” years ago because, looking back, there was no logical reason I should’ve believed my dream would work out. No Canadian women in NASCAR. No money. No famous last name. No industry connections. Just a dirt track racer from Winnipeg with a really big dream. And honestly? I thought it was going to be a lot easier than it was But I’m glad I didn’t know. That little bit of ignorance gave me the courage to go for it—and the unwavering belief in my vision kept me going through the years when it felt like nothing was happening. Sometimes you have to believe in something before there’s any evidence that you should. That’s Optimal Delusion. And I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. 🏁
