The kcd2 combat system flows infinitely better, but the one thing id prefer with the first game is how it had a dedicated stab button, i feel like some of the depth in the combo system was lost because of that, thats the only time the game felt like it took a step in the wrong direction, but its very easy to let it go as the rest of the game definitely makes up for it
