This verse reminds us that, whenever you feel like you're about to do something that will ruin your life, you still have the power and will to resist, to say no to the very bad thing that constantly attacks you. If you genuinely feel like what you're doing is wrong, congratulations, because the Holy Spirit lives in you, and the Holy Spirit guides you step by step every day. And Jesus knows what you are carrying, He knows your agony, because He came down to this earth in human form to experience every sin that we feel, so He could relate to us. He's doing it for your own good, that's why He allows pain. What's a testimony without a test? What's a victory without a battle? He's shaping you, and He knows that you can overcome whatever is destroying you. All we have to do is trust in Him, confess every time we've sinned, and He'll strengthen us to keep going. Remember, you are not alone, even when you think you are, God is still there.
