Security doesn't need to be SIA badged unless they're guarding a licensed premises (like a pub), only then does it become a "licensable activity".

SIA is for sub contracted security.
If they are employed by the premises directly and operate only at premises owned by that company. They can train the security in house, no SIA needed. I don't need an SIA for my security job.
