I grew up in Blue Bell and were members there when I was a kid. We rode our bikes there almost every day! After getting married, we lived right behind the 9 hole golf course. My son and I would play there. It's been a fixture there since my mother in law swam in the lake before there was a pool!

growing up my whole family went there (cousins aunts uncles grandmother) and we would BBQ and sometimes order pizza every single weekend. it was a very special place.

is that what it looks like now? I remember we used to go there 55 60 years ago for annual bellco phone and family picnic but I don't remember all those rides. it's just swimming. the grown ups had beer and we had pictures of soda. I think there might have been a small chip and pot golf course for the kids if my memory served me correctly is anybody remember them of that?

swim club that my parents took me to growing up we used to ice skate on the lake. We used to canoe on the lake, but the pool was amazing. The snack bar was fantastic love going to mermaid leg as a child. Mermaid was the fantastic place to spend my summer as a child.

My daughter had her 5th grade party there too. And my son is in 5th now so he won’t. But it looks super cute!!! We haven’t been yet!

My whole family belonged to Mermaid for decades! My parents wedding reception and my college graduation party were there! Wonderful memories 💜

@Mike Kavanaugh: Way back in the day my grandfather had built the pavilions and had done a lot of work there. When it closed at the end of the 2019 season I knew what was coming next that here comes more homes and a historic piece of blue bell would be gone. When the township took it over the fences went up and everything got boarded up I was like what’s going to happen with this place, when the pavilions came down I was upset that what my grandfather had built was gone, but if he were still alive to see the property today he would say it looks good glad to see it’s not sitting falling apart.
