However, about 300,000 do not claim benefits. They are said to be “hidden”, given that they are not seeking state support, either financially or to find work.⁠ ⁠ The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) found that 80% of the hidden Neets are at home living with their parents. So we’re shamed if do claim benefits but also if we don’t?? wtf you want us to do?? live on the street and use tax payer money for services/temporary accommodation so you can complain about that too 🙃

This is the wrong use of the term “Bank of Mum and Dad” the term is more used for access to capital for example young people buying houses with support from parents. It’s not a term with connotations of laziness.
