This is actually a beautiful TT. I have 32 hours over a fortnight of teaching & only 6 PPA hours; I teach English & head of year 11. There’s not enough time in the school day

1x year 10 (5 hours) 2x year 11 (5 hours each) 2x year 12 (4 hours each) 2x year 13 (6 hours each) 1 slot for EPQ mentor a week . full time y13 form 🙌🏼 37 hours. 13 hours blocked out for HOD but also ECT as i am both hahaha

This sounds like bliss, I’ve got 24 lessons a week with 6 free periods (my school only has a 1 week timetable) and I’m teaching all KS3. 2.5 classes of year 7 (10 hours) 2.5 classes of year 8 (10 hours) and 1 year 9 class (4 hours) 🙈😕 (I’m in my 6th year of teaching)

Why not year 9? Lots of teachers have lots of lessons to teach but they never teach year 9. How comes?

What a dream! I’m an ECT2 I have 5 hours PPA and 3 hours ECT time. We see KS4 9 times a fortnight and KS3 7 times a fortnight. I’m secondary English. All our meetings are after school.
