I don't think that's the reason at all, she's jealous of him cause they're mother values him a million times over her and Thalia knows their mother will sacrifice her just to get her brother into the throne, Senevier would even protect him even from her.

Thalia definitely resents him for being protected when she was practically fed to the wolves. But their interaction I saw more as Thalia separating herself from him because 1 he needs to learn that not everyone can be trusted even if they are blood and 2 she doesn't want to have to worry about his safety while she has barely secured her safety.
