Her mother was insane and her father tried to keep the family together. Somehow her mother's insanity to get work is somehow, "Inequality" because her mother was suffering mental illness. She went against communism by working for the CIA and then she swayed the other way around Vietnam and aborted a child beforehand at a time when she would got arrested for it by a doctor who would have lost his license for performing a procedure.
