Quick question 🙋♀️why does it bother haters so much that Korra is #1. Especially after evidence that Korra is the strongest Avatar.In the show as child she was already bending 3 elements. In the comics she mastered 3 elements. She’s the first Metal bending Avatar. She went up again the purest evil form. She’s the first avatar to spirtit bend. She mastered the AS. So what is it? She has the same personality traits as Toph but everyone loves and respects Toph. You give Aang all of the excuses but can’t give Korra grace because why?

Korra is honestly way stronger than people make her out to be. She fought Zaheer while poisoned and was still destroying him so badly that his best option was basically to keep his distance. She learned metalbending, survived losing her bending, fought one of the strongest bloodbenders we’ve seen, and literally stopped Kuvira’s spirit cannon at point blank range. People always bring up how much she struggled, but barely talk about how crazy the people she had to fight were. Give Korra some credit, she went through hell and still came back stronger.

people who hate on her genuinely don’t get the show at all. they just compare her to aang and don’t appreciate her as her own character. they ignore her growth, struggles, and everything she went through, then act like she never developed. korra had one of the best character arcs in the whole avatar universe, yet people still find ways to hate on her. they judge her for the mistakes she made while ignoring that those mistakes are literally part of what makes her character so well written. korra wasn’t supposed to be exactly like aang she was supposed to be different, and that’s the entire point. watching her mature, become more patient, and learn from her experiences thats what makes her character so phenomenal.

Im fully on board with defend Korra, but putting Aang in 4th and give him such a basic description does feel like a bias opinion. Specially because the list seems to be based on the amount of achievements and I genually think that Aang should bear minimum be on the top 3

1, the seven havens were made as safe places in the cataclysmic events korra caused. 2, Korra didn't create a new spirit portal, the energy beam from the mech did(Korra stated it herself). 3, Korra didn't revive the airbenders, harmonic convergence did which is something that happens naturally every 10k years. 4, Korra also proved why the portals should have stayed closed like wan had them, since the spirits in the human world is what caused the cataclysm(from what we know). 5, while she has a more aggressive fighting style, nothing she has done has shown her to be "exceptional" she is good, yes. Exceptional, no. Great physical strength, yes. Combat, no(she always charges without plan, or with very little talking to her team if any at all). Korra is at minimum number 2, its mostly caused by bad writing. Aang should be at number 1, he was was youngest fully realized avatar, the first human/avatar to be given energy bending by the lion turtles, and was the first avatar to redirect lighting which he used to redirect the strongest bolt in history. Otherwise, great list.
