@capucine.emily: Pizza Pinwheels Ingredients: Makes: about 20-25 pinwheels 2 sheets puff pastry 1/4 cup (about 65 g) tomato paste 3/4 cup (about 180 g) tomato sauce 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) tomato sauce 1 tbsp dried oregano, thyme, or Herbes de Provence 1 1/2 cups (about 150 g / 5 oz) shredded mozzarella Optional: shredded carrots Instructions 1/ Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, combine the tomato paste, tomato sauce, herbs, salt and pepper. Mash or blend until smooth. If using shredded carrots, mix them into the sauce. 2/ Roll out both sheets of puff pastry and divide the tomato mixture between them. Spread it evenly over each sheet. Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over both pastries. Roll each sheet tightly into a log. 3/ Place the logs in the freezer for about 5 minutes to firm them up and make slicing easier. Slice each log into pinwheels about 1 cm (1/2 inch) thick. Place on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one. Bake for 25 minutes, or until puffed and golden. Let them cool completely before freezing. #lunchbox #EasyRecipe #vegetarian #familymeals #pizza
