@djluckyc: Wayyyy back in 2016, I made my 99Jamz debut on Labor Day Weekend… and mannnn, I was NERVOUS! 😂 At the time I was really in these streets — G5ive, college nights, hood clubs, parties… EVERYTHING! So getting the opportunity to play on 99Jamz felt like getting called up to the BIG LEAGUES. I knew how big that moment was, but I wasn’t prepared for the LOVE. 💙 It felt like everybody I had ever met was tuned in! Twitter, IG, texts, calls… people were going CRAZY showing love. I’ll never forget that feeling. Fast forward 10 YEARS LATER… I’m no longer the guest DJ getting an opportunity. I’m helping others live out their dreams as well. So every Labor Day Weekend reminds me of where this chapter started… and what can happen when somebody opens the door and you’re READY when your name gets called. 🎯 10 years later… WE STILL ROCKIN’!
