no that's a lawsuit the traffic stop is only warranted for the amount of time it takes to do a normal traffic stop anything above that is excessive and against the law

Yeah those black out windows need to be Banned. Lancaster Reading Ephrata. When I inspected cars no way they would get a sticker. Police officers have a very hard time identifying who’s inside

When I went to get my car windows tinted they told me 70% was the legal percentage in PA. And I haven’t gotten stopped for having mine tinted.

Honestly it's not worth it to have your car tints too dark If you haven't been pulled over , you will eventually. I got a ticket for mine and was forced to remove it, I even wasted my time and went to court. They said all tints is illegally in Pennsylvania. I just put 35% and if you too dark they will pull you over! I just don't get why they searching the car. Anyway I see cars with dark tints in Lancaster, I asked myself how did they get away with it. I got pulled over in my community, I gave all kind of the excuses why and he still gives me a ticket and actually made it to the court room.

They shouldn’t have let them search the car. Unless they had probable cause. They could have refused. If they say the cop can search their car, they gave the cop permission.

He was pulled over for reckless driving, by the sounds of it since the driver mentioned the dogs I'm guessing they got a whif of drugs...so no this isn't about the window tint...though he will get a fine if it's not factory level tint.
