i’m in recovery for alcohol, and i can’t have any alcohol in the house. it makes me sad i can’t offer her some of her favorite drinks, but i make sure to at least change her water everyday. i hardly see bubbles! but when i first set my alter up i saw them for a couple of days

I cut up the apples and give them to the animals outside, mostly birds eat them. And the candy’s I open crumble up on ant 🐜 holes. Her water I use to water the plants outside. I change the water every Sunday. And the fruits when start to rot.

This is just a suggestion but if you guys don't feel comfortable, putting your altar water down the drain. Feed it to your local tree or plants. I started doing it and I even took Santa Muerte with me to do it. It has definitely improved our relationship in my opinion.

I have a shamrock plant next to my altar. They grow little white blossoms year round, so she always has fresh living flowers. When it’s time to change the water, I pour the old stuff into the flower pot so she can help the flowers grow. 🖤

I gave her tequila and I asked her if she wanted me to open it and when I tried to open it, I couldn’t!!!! So I took that as her telling me to leave it closed.

I was told, anything that comes from the earth, you give it back to the earth, so food, water, flowers you put it outside in a corner of your back yard, or at a tree at a park.. and then like things that the earth cannot process or decompose you wrap in white cloth or even a paper towel you can throw that away because the earth doesn't break it down.. is this true??!

i had her on my top shelf living in Fresno and neverrrr got bubbles. as soon as i build her own full altar when i moved to Vegas, i got sooooo many bubbles 😭😭🥹 theyre like in a circle around the top of the cup
