This is what I explain to customers Apps update to use more battery as new phones release with larger capacity batteries new phones still last about a day, but old phones even with new batteries feel the hit, if apps /software kept the same efficency they needed for the older phones new phones could be lasting weeks but they don't they only target a day of life
