@owelletv: Nzam–Inoma Road: Concerned Sons of Owelle, Inoma and Ukwalla Demand Urgent Government Intervention The Time for Promises Is Over — Our People Deserve Action Concerned sons and stakeholders from Owelle, Inoma and Ukwalla have raised a fresh and urgent call for the immediate reconstruction of the Nzam–Inoma Road, a critical 6.5-kilometre road that has suffered years of neglect and deterioration. Leading the advocacy are Engineer David Ogugua, Hon. Boniface Obuka Ozoemena, popularly known as Double Promotion, and the serving Councillor representing Olumbanasa Inoma Ward, Hon. Livinus Ejumade. Their recent inspection of the road is a clear demonstration of their commitment to drawing attention to the hardship faced daily by residents, farmers, traders and other road users. The Nzam–Inoma Road is not merely a local road. It is an important economic corridor. It connects communities including Owelle, Inoma and Ukwalla to Nzam and other commercial centres, while providing enormous potential for increased agricultural production, trade and regional economic development. We therefore call on the Anambra State Government, under the leadership of Governor Prof. Charles Soludo, the relevant local government authorities, federal representatives and other stakeholders to treat the reconstruction of this road as an urgent development priority. For years, the deplorable condition of the road has made the transportation of farm produce unnecessarily difficult. Farmers struggle to move their harvest to markets, traders face increased transportation costs, and communities remain economically isolated despite their enormous agricultural potential. This neglect must end. A properly constructed Nzam–Inoma Road would not only transform transportation within the affected communities but could also strengthen economic ties between Anambra and Kogi States, opening up a major corridor for trade, agriculture and commerce. Our Demand Is Simple: Fix the Road. The people of Owelle, Inoma and Ukwalla are not asking for a favour. They are asking for the infrastructure necessary to unlock the economic potential of their communities. We respectfully but firmly call on the relevant authorities to move beyond assurances and take concrete action toward the immediate construction of the road. Our farmers deserve accessible roads. Our traders deserve functional infrastructure. Our communities deserve development. Our children deserve a better future. The Nzam–Inoma Road must no longer be a symbol of neglect. It must become a symbol of renewed commitment, connectivity and economic transformation.
