@alli.aliviaaa: I want to make one thing super clear because I would never want this to come across the wrong way🤍 I am SO grateful for every kind comment and compliment I’ve received about how I look postpartum. I know they come from such a loving place, and they truly mean so much to me. This video isn’t about the compliments, it’s about me being honest with myself about how I lost the weight. The truth is, I haven’t been taking care of myself the way I should. I haven’t been eating enough, prioritizing myself, or fueling my body the way it deserves. So while yes, I lost the baby weight, I’m learning that losing weight and being healthy aren’t always the same thing. I know I need to do better for myself not by getting smaller, but by eating enough, getting stronger, and actually taking care of the body that carried my baby. And to any other moms in this season of life who are pouring everything they have into their babies: this is your reminder that you are just as important as your baby. You deserve to be fed, cared for, rested, and loved too. Taking care of yourself isn’t taking away from being a good mom, it’s part of it!
