Uzbeki Palaw Ingredients: * 2 medium onions, chopped * Lamb shank * 5-6carrots * 5 cups rice, washed and soaked * Raisins * Salt, to taste * Cumin powder, to taste * Oil * Hot water Method: 1. Heat oil in a pot and sauté the chopped onions until golden. 2. Add the lamb shank and pour in hot water and salt. Pressure cook for 30 minutes, until the lamb is tender. 3. keep the cooked lamb aside. 4. In a separate pan, heat some oil and season the carrots. Sauté for about 5 minutes. 5. Add the soaked rice, raisins, salt and cumin powder. Pour in the reserved lamb broth. 6. Boil until the water is almost completely absorbed. 7. Cover and steam on low heat for 15 minutes. 8. Fluff the rice gently and serve hot with the tender lamb shank. 🤤🍚🥕🥩 #naanwatan #uzbakipalaw #ricedish
