Some men act like they’re bitter and maybe even jealous of the fact that they can’t blame postpartum psychosis for murder. Which is highly worrying, because why would you be concerned about getting away with murder or family annihilation? 🤨 And as you said, plenty of men did get away by being found not guilty by reason of insanity. And on a “lesser” scale, just look at the amount of celebrities, politicians and public figures who are guilty of domestic violence and SA and still have thriving careers. Defending men who committed violent crimes but screaming for the death penalty for Lindsay is giving double standards and misogyny.

They forget reason of insanity was literally created for men to lessen their sentence for serious crimes while insane in the 1800s, while at the same time still lobotomising women for simply not doing as they were told. It’s not a new sentencing created for this case.

This is so unnecessary! The judge had every right to remove the juror who failed to follow the law, and it is a tragedy that he didn't do so. The most important takeaway is that Lindsay was acquitted—Red won! The prosecution lost the case, and that is something they must reckon with should there be a retrial. They now know they didn't succeed this time, and must be prepared for the consequences of that in any potential new round.‼️

To hate what's happened, and also feel an overwhelming empathy for the situation! that is really hard to understand. it is however our own lesson to learn. it cannot be taught and will only be understood once you've learnt. the fact that filicide is actually slightly more men than women, and familicide is over 90% men over women is mind boggling when I'm hearing people mocking hormones. the big cases of men doing this is wild when you see the majority, harmed/eliminated the women as well as kids, when the women, almost never do with the men. hormones go both ways, and I'm baffled at the arguments I've seen today about it😮🤦🏼♀️
