I dated my recent ex off and on for over 3 years. I kept blocking him bc he would be sooo sweet one minute then flip a switch and turn into this demonic character the next. And I would question everything I did and try to figure out what made him act that way. I would miss him and think about the sweet version of him then I would go back. This cycle repeated the entire time I knew him. I had never even heard of the word ‘narcissist’ until he called his ex wife that. So I researched it. OMG. It’s Him to a ‘T’. He’s already met someone and they’re engaged after only a few months. I do not want him back and I never wanna speak to him again but the hardest thing to heal from is trying to detach from the person I ‘thought’ he was and the potential I ‘thought’ I saw in him. 😏
