I’m battling stage 4 rectal cancer with metastasis to the liver. Methodist hospital sent me home to die. The first call I made was to MD Anderson. Things have moved quickly, diagnosed 6/4/26, permanent colostomy 6/18/26, 4 rounds of aggressive chemo starting 7/8/26. Rescanned 9/3 and found out 9/4 the tumor on my liver is less than half the size it was and rectal tumor was undetectable (mri being ordered for confirmation). I wish you were in the states and seeing Drs at MD Anderson. I’m praying for you but don’t give up the fight because we’re fighting with you and for you🙏

My mum was diagnosed stage 4 terminal in 2009. This year she turned 70 and whilst on paliative infusions every three weeks lives a full, fantastic, happy life with her children and grandchildren. Nowadays we are living with cancer rather than dying from it. I pray you will live to see this reflection every day 🥰
