All snow turns black when you put it over a lighter and the 'snow turning brown in sunlight' is bs too. It's normal snow just dirty from the rocks and salt that's thrown onto the streets

Bro peopl dont understand basic physics. Water needs a ton of energy to change states. To boil 3 liters of water requires more energy than an entire stick of dynamite. And when it starts melting the water gets absorbed into the tiny holes in the snow so it doesnt apere to change volume and it doesnt drip

Snow burns on the exterior and the burnt outside acts like insulation for the cool inside, thats also how u can make a literal fire inside a snow oven shape which is possible, basic physics.
