I’m going to message some people and make a couple calls today to see what I can do. We have had contact with his owners. Their son comes and goes by the house but doesn’t have anything to do with the dog. He’s also an outside dog and always has been, but we’ll put him in his house when it’s super ugly out and the son is gone. He gets lots of loving from us but he really does just want his owners 😔 when I figure out more I’ll update y’all. The nearest vet or shelter is in the next town and we can only get there by boat or plane. Our ferry is only one way right now for us, meaning we’d have to bring a car and stay the night in a hotel to get him there. I can’t afford that as a single mom with two kids. (Which is why I’ve never gotten them a dog because this kind of stuff is EXPENSIVE) luckily I live in a very tight knit community and lots of people care about this precious pup so I WILL find help 🙂

I had my German Shepherd for 13 years and she passed away in my lap. I took the best Care ever I would’ve never left her anywhere. She’s my family people suck.

Can you bring him inside or at least set up an area in a garage or something for him until you find someone to take him? So heartbreaking I’ll never understand how people can abandon animals 😞
