Some weird stuff about Columbus and his voyage, so the navigator was definitely African, secondly the same word for gold spear was shared by the west Africans (Mali empire I think) and the Carrie an indigenous people. It all hints at Africans getting to the “new world” before Columbus “discovered” America, also he was sailing with maps of the Americas in his possession already

That’s true for some, but not all. Some African rulers came to know more about the realities of chattel slavery and still wanted the trade to continue because they benefited from it. This was after developing direct links with the Americas and being confronted with abolitionist arguments. King Adandozan of Dahomey sent an embassy to Brazil in 1810 to protect the slave trade. King Ghezo of Dahomey wrote to Queen Victoria in 1848 arguing to keep it going, and Kosoko of Lagos also resisted attempts to stop it. So it was mixed. Some resisted slavery, some suffered from it, and some fought to keep it going for their own gain.
