I was there, just 6 years old. Everyone around me was freaking out, but I, having just completed yet another summer of swimming lessons, loudly reassured them all that the pilot knew how to swim because he was definitely older than 6. I still cringe thinking about it. 😭

I remember this. We were there with our 4 year old son. He just looked at us and said " the plane is in the water, right?" We just said yes. He didn’t understand, thank goodness. It was awful to see. 😞
