I live in Lynchburg VA and honestly love it here there’s so much to do for kids. I used to live in SC and hated.

This is how I feel moving from Massachusetts to Oklahoma…I miss the people, the beach, the breeze, it’s depressing here because it’s so hot we have barely played outside all summer. It’s like waking up and being in a dark cloud all day being somewhere you don’t feel like you should be

As someone who also struggles with where I live, and can’t really “just move” somewhere else bc my boyfriend’s job keeps us here (also I’m in Spokane so I know you know the struggle). Feel this SO heavily!! Moved from a place we loved to a new location for my husband’s job 2.5 years ago (AGR). We both agree it was the biggest mistake we’ve ever made. I feel bad bc it’s so not fair to my kiddos for me to be so miserable every single day. We just spent 2 weeks away and dreaded coming back. Praying so hard for a move in our future!!

As a *former* homeschooling mom, I can imagine how difficult it is living somewhere with not much to do with kids. Where we live (Virginia) there is a PLETHORA of things to do. When I go back home (NC) to visit my family I’m like my god this place is so boring. I highly suggest weighing your options and consider going elsewhere!

We moved out of South Carolina in July. It was not the place to raise a family for us! Plus the humidity took me out I hated it. Best of luck!!
