@shanika.malcolm: We have been taught to look outside of ourselves for a savior. But what if the deeper teaching of the Christ was an invitation into Christ consciousness? An invitation to do the inner work necessary to move beyond fear, separation and ego, and return to the heart — to love, wisdom and service. This is why spiritual practice matters. Meditation, prayer, breathwork, contemplation and self-observation aren’t simply things we do. They expand our capacity to embody what we know. Because knowing about love is different from becoming loving. Knowing about wisdom is different from making wise choices. The practice is where the teaching becomes embodied. As consciousness expands, we begin asking different questions. Not only, What benefits me right now? but: What serves life? What serves the whole? What serves the Earth and the generations coming after us? This is the spirituality I want to teach and practice — not spirituality as escape from the world, but as preparation to live more consciously within it.
