❤️If You Have These Signs, Your Heart May Not Be Normal
Your heart works continuously to pump blood throughout your body. When it is not functioning properly, it often gives warning signs that should never be ignored.
❤️1. Chest pain, pressure, tightness, or discomfort
This may occur during physical activity or even at rest. It can be a sign of reduced blood flow to the heart (angina) or a heart attack.
😮💨 2. Shortness of breath
Difficulty breathing during activity, while lying down, or even at rest may indicate that your heart is unable to pump blood effectively.
💓 3. Palpitations
A sensation that your heart is racing, pounding, fluttering, or skipping beats may be due to an abnormal heart rhythm.
🦵 4. Swelling of the legs, ankles, or feet
This often occurs when the heart cannot pump efficiently, causing fluid to accumulate in the lower limbs.
🛏️5. Inability to lie flat due to shortness of breath (Orthopnoea)
If you need multiple pillows to sleep comfortably because lying flat makes you breathless, it may be a sign of heart failure.
🌙 6. Waking up suddenly at night gasping for air (Paroxysmal Nocturnal Dyspnoea – PND)
This symptom typically wakes a person from sleep and improves after sitting or standing up. It is a classic sign of heart failure.
😴 7. Excessive fatigue or reduced ability to perform your usual activities
Feeling unusually tired after little effort may mean your heart is not pumping enough oxygen-rich blood to meet your body's needs.
⚠️Don't ignore these warning signs. While they do not always mean you have heart disease, they deserve prompt medical evaluation. If you have severe chest pain, sudden shortness of breath, or fainting, seek emergency medical care immediately.
❤️Early diagnosis and treatment can save your life.
Ulcer and Acid reflux disease may mimic some of these symptoms too
