A firefighter died on 9/11 saving strangers and left his daughter to grow up without her father, and somehow a comment section full of people who have risked absolutely nothing for anyone decided that she needed a lecture on morality because she released a few balloons in his memory. The audacity is remarkable. He gave his life for other human beings. You typed a sanctimonious TikTok comment about litter and somehow walked away believing you were the morally superior person. Please climb down from the biodegradable pedestal you’ve placed yourselves on and develop even the slightest sense of proportion. There is a time and place for environmental advocacy. Harassing a woman while she memorializes the father she lost on 9/11 isn’t it.
