@amoye_agba: THE BLACK STONE: WORSHIP, RITUAL OR DIVINE MYSTERY? The Black Stone of the Kaaba has a history surrounded by deep spiritual beliefs and mysteries. People who know its history said Hajarah a powerful woman that transform to the Stone. They said she wanted her children’s land to become a great marketplace, so they would not suffer or lack, and that people from across the world would come to her, seek from her, and receive blessings. Her people honoured her as their mother, cared for the Stone, and believed it possessed extraordinary power. They also said the Stone could respond like a human, receive a particular thing brought to it, and make a way for the person to reach it regardless of the crowd. They said that during Hajarah’s lifetime, whatever she placed her mouth upon, interven would manifest, and that after she became the Stone, those seeking connection or initiation with her had to kiss the Stone. But why did she become the Stone? Why must the Stone be kissed? What was its place before Islam? Was it worshipped? Was it truly an Orisha? Before Islam, rituals were performed around the Kaaba, including circumambulation, and the Stone was honoured. Meccan families fought over it, saying it was their mother. When Islam came to abolish idol worship, circumambulation remained, and the Black Stone became part of the Hajj rites. Why were these practices retained? Are we looking at worship, ritual, honour, symbolism or something deeper? Is the Almighty hidden within what people call Orisha, revealing a mystery through sacred traditions? Are we all worshipping Orisha, or are we encountering a mystery of the Almighty that we have not yet understood This is not to condemn religion, but to encourage deeper reflection on God, spirituality, history, ritual, and the mysteries surrounding the Kaaba.

You are correct that the Black Stone predates Islam and was revered in pre-Islamic Arabia, sir. But that fact alone does not establish the specific history you're presenting here. Where is the historical source for the claim that it was a woman named Hajarah who became a stone, that she was regarded as an Orisha, and that Muslims inherited a practice of initiating themselves through her by kissing the Stone? The Hājar we know from the Islamic sources was associated with the story of Zamzam and Safa and Marwah, and she was the mother of Prophet Ismail... not with the Black Stone.
