@artyphex: It’s an unending circle of pain! #witchhatatelier #orufrey #olruggio #qifrey

micha :

I'll do you one better. what if Qifrey does this periodically as a check in on where they stand still and one day that 'yes' becomes a 'no'. Qifrey would be haunted by the fact that he ran out of time

msleo :

I believe there's a reason that Qifrey calls Olly the sky's most kindest radient star. Because he will always forgive him no matter what. You can't say these partners in pain don't also love each other even if only platonically. As well as, Olly is the one who started this cycle because he could not bear to lose Qifrey. Qifrey was ready to accept being a tree from the start. I think that would apply in the confession situation as well. Olly is just too damn nice.

Krissa :

why do you hate me? me specifically

𐙚✧༺🪶ᴛᴇᴇ☆ɾօղօѵα's #1🪦𓇢𓆸𐙚 :

“Qifrey trees out” i’m stealing this one for part 2 of my Silverwood Agott x Brimcap Coco AU fic

jaden :

i love how Shirahama just kinda cursed him with the endless angst disease

Emi :

I like thinking about two other things actually. One: somewhere, at some point of their lives, olruggio has wiped Qifrey's memories and and lives with that now. by the time Olruggio finds out for how long Qifrey kept doing this, it would hurt him more because he would develop some kind of deeper understanding. Two: Qifrey loses a consistent and reliable understanding of how often the Memory wiping should be used. I'm not talking about weekly or something, but I feel like somewhere along the way Qifrey has wiped olruggios mind about something that didn't involve trees just because he could feel himself getting too happy and he maybe also would pour some oil in before lighting it up by confessing something <3

sara 💫 :

Shirahama cooking up the two sadest mfs and the doomest yaoi that has ever doomed

graceisprobablyonline :

You are like papa

Anicca :

Soooo much angst potential with them

TinyCrazyKat :

I agree but I also think younger Olly def confessed at some point. Baby Olly did hide anything, I feel like teen him was likely similar. Adult Olly is more content with it.

Sock :

Literally just finished reading a fic that this is like the entire premise of it and it was soo good

☆AKIRA!☆ :

I feel like both of these scenarios happened at some point. Teenage Olruggio definitely confessed at least once, but as an adult he's content with their relationship as is. Qifrey definitely blurted something out on more than one occasion and treed out about it, but I can definitely see him doing it on purpose and I like to think he has

Artemis :

Wait i love the idea that for olruggio he is happy with how things are because he thinks it's all he's ever going to get from quifrey but for quifrey he is miserable because he KNOWS FOR A FACT it is NOT all they could ever have. Then olly wouldn't confess because to him it could only make things worse vs quifrey not being able to take it anymore at some points and desperately wanting olly to know even if for just a moment. You are so right with this.

I_lovewha :

I never thought of that, you're evil don't give shirahama ideas

Obanai's left eye :

WHY WOULD YOU SAY THISSS

Sapphic Decay :

‘if it was ment to happen it would have’ there you have it. the fanfic title!

Multifandoms20 :

I saw this fanart, I can't remember where it was, but it was that Qifrey had ran away soon after the first time the tree nearly got out, and Qifrey had a dream of Olruggio hugging him, which made him nearly tree out

LesbianSparrow :

Dinosoar98 :

This is such a good theory 😭😭😭 call your lawyer I’m suing you for emotional distress

YaelokreListener :

The: qifrey trees out, its giving: qifrey freeks out but with the tree joke bc he is a tree

Caviruu :

This fandom is allergic to happiness (like Qifrey)

Noah Walker :

Necesito que me lo traduzcan los factos que dice esta chica 😭 Sólo entendí un poco
