Nah. Blue collar is skilled labor. If someone can be fully trained and competent in a single week that isn’t blue collar. That is unskilled labor. Unskilled jobs still have value but they aren’t the same as blue collar.

trade schools used to be the way you went to school for culinary. it's making a little bit of a come back at least in my area. some places like Vegas still have unions.

im a photographer and feel blue collar at times, not sure how people will generally feel about this but my main work comes from school photography, i wake up at 4am to drive anywhere between 1-3hrs away to be at these schools before they open, hauling my equipment, setting it up, being on my feet all day, breaking down, and driving all the way back home. repeat. thats not including all the hustling on the freelance side trying to grow my own business
