I rented a 2025 Jetta. It’s a nice, sporty-looking car, and I really like it, but some parts of the interior feel pretty cheap. When I tried to remove the phone holder from the air vent, the entire vent started coming out with it.

Mechanical shifter levers forgive a lot. They make you a more agile driver by whipping the car around on instinct, eyes free. Nobody understands that anymore.
