💧 Before you assume it’s a craving… check your hydration. Sometimes what feels like “I NEED something sweet” or “I’m starving” is actually your body asking for fluids. Here’s my simple test: 1️⃣ Drink 12–16 oz of water. Not three tiny sips. Actually hydrate. 2️⃣ Wait 10–20 minutes. Give your body a chance to catch up. 3️⃣ Check the craving again. If it’s gone or significantly quieter → you may have been thirsty. If you’re still genuinely hungry → EAT. Your body may actually need food. A few other clues you may be under-hydrated: • Headache or feeling foggy • Low energy • Dry mouth • Darker yellow urine • Feeling unusually hungry between meals • Craving salty or sugary foods And here’s one of my favorite habits: drink water before you start looking for a snack. It’s a simple way to pause and figure out what your body is actually asking for instead of automatically reaching for food.
