⭐️ If you’re viewing on TikTok, be sure you join my email list by grabbing one of my free guides linked right in my bio! You may want to familiarize yourself with the complete program by grabbing my Blueprint and Inflammation Guide as the interactive program and mobile app. All of my workouts will be hosted within the app along with the ability to built your own plan! ❤️❤️ My program launches soon! Your armpit can tell you something about what is happening upstream in your lymphatic system. Lymphatic fluid from the lower body ultimately has to make its way back toward the central lymphatic circulation and eventually return to the bloodstream near the base of the neck. Your armpit is not literally the drain for your legs, but the axillary area is part of the larger network of lymphatic vessels and nodes moving fluid through the body. So when I talk about an “armpit puff” or that fullness that seems to replace the natural hollow of the armpit, I pay attention to it as one possible sign that the body is carrying a higher fluid and tissue burden overall. With lipedema, we already have altered tissue, increased interstitial fluid burden, and in some women, reduced lymphatic transport capacity. When the system is struggling to keep up, you may notice fullness in more places than just your legs. This is the whole reason why I teach women to stop looking at their legs as an isolated problem. Your lymphatic system is a whole body transport system. If you want to understand why your legs keep feeling heavy, swollen, or congested, you have to start looking at the entire pathway. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹#lipedema #lipedemalegs #lymphaticdrainage #
