One of the reasons I hate mythology. The gods give a bull to a king so that a sacrifice be made to them (vain as hell) and when the king doesn’t the gods curse his WIFE and not the king for some reason. Kratos was right

Poseidon gave king Minos the perfect bull that was meant to be sacrificed back to the gods as a sign of respect. The king decided to keep the bull for himself instead. Because he kept the bull instead of sacrificing it, Poseidon cursed his wife(the queen pasiphae) with an unnatural desire for the very bull he refused to give up. The queen had a craftsman build her a hollow wooden cow so that she could get close enough to the bull to conceive. Once the Minotaur was born the king was outraged. A curse he brought onto his own family. But he couldn’t kill the Minotaur or claim it. Instead he hid his shame and built a maze to make sure no one ever found it.
