@charlotte.slinn: Wow, this has taken a lot of courage to talk on here but I’m so proud and glad that I’ve done this 🤍 Being on maternity leave whilst living pay check to pay check is hard. Ive got my little one to care for, a wedding to save for, bills to pay… and I was so fed up of saying “no” to coffees, lunches and plans with friends because I couldn’t justify the extra spending. I wanted more financial breathing room without missing out on this precious time with my baby. Then I came across a first-time mum online who was creating and selling digital products. I remember thinking… “If she can do it, why can’t I?” I already loved creating things, so I decided to stop overthinking it and give it a go. For the first time, I felt hopeful that I could create an income around my family, rather than choosing between the two. Now I create digital products that can sell again and again after creating them once. I can work around my little one, spend more time with my family and finally say YES to those coffees.It’s given me something I desperately wanted — more freedom, more choice and less financial pressure.
