@nbcnews: As the jury remain in deadlock on the 6th day of the Lindsay Clancy trial, Judge William Sullivan gave jurors a clarification on his instructions on reasonable doubt, before sending them back for deliberation.
Based on his specific comment that its 'beyond reasonable doubt not beyond all possible doubt' sounds like one person is holding out for Lindsay.

The prosecution didn’t prove this beyond reasonable doubt. Plain and simple. Kick the one juror off and wrap this up. Lord

No matter what you believe in this case… Reasonable is all over this case!! Be mad at the Commonwealth if you’re mad. This is the EXACT same reason Casey Anthony was found Not Guilty!! Reasonable Doubt is the law 🤷♀️

With all due respect, judge Sullivan, you mean the same instruction that you gave the prosecution not to bring up the Catholic religion and they did it again? Sir, nobody is listening to you. This is going to be a miss trial.😞 Why do we have alternate jurors if judges don’t utilize that option?

What a weak instruction. So now we’re supposed to believe that 11 jurors are lying and the one juror isn’t? If 11 of them said that, it’s because the other juror is relying on his own prejudice instead of reasonable doubt and the evidence.

the commonwealth went for full premeditated. saying that she wanted a new life. But they didn't prove any of that. The commonwealth didn't need to pursue it like that. Far too much reasonable doubt

Its not surprising its down to one person holding the whole thing up. feel it may have been the case for a most of this deliberation

Why can’t they just make juror prove her innocence on each fact then and if he can’t…. Not guilty

If everyone now knows that one juror, isn’t that pressuring them to agree with everyone else so they won’t be anymore and is just agreeing to agree?

The defense is claiming that since no one knows her mind except her, there is reasonable doubt. By that token, nothing should ever be convicted

It’s such 🐂💩 That juror has repeatedly LIED saying they understand AND will follow his instructions! WTF did they wait 6 days to say they don’t understand?? This isn’t a damn game. Charge them with obstruction and kick them OUT!!! That’s why they have 6 alternates waiting to serve.

Honestly, when 11 out of 12 people see the same thing and you are the only one who doesn't, perhaps you should pause and ask yourself where the problem actually lies. It is quite something to be the only person who thinks everyone else is wrong, without even considering whether *you* might be the one doing something wrong. Sometimes you really need to be able to look at yourself from the outside and ask: "What am I doing that makes me the only one who doesn't see what everyone else sees?"

Judge William Sullivan took the rare step of bringing out the deliberating jurors and questioning them one by one before rereading the crucial legal definition of reasonable doubt. Defense attorney Kevin Reddington argued that the foreperson had indicated one juror was explicitly refusing to follow the law regarding reasonable doubt. Reddington formally requested that the juror be removed, but Judge Sullivan denied the motion and ordered the full panel to continue working. The jury has already received the Tuey-Rodriguez charge—a special instruction given to deadlocked panels in Massachusetts urging them to consider the reasonableness of opposing views. Under state rules, the judge can typically only send a deadlocked jury back twice without their consent before a mistrial must be declared. The jury continues to weigh whether Lindsay Clancy is criminally responsible for the 2023 strangulation deaths of her three young children, or if her mental state supports an insanity defense.
