this is insane I use game pass since cloud gaming was my way to play games since my consoles broke and with prices nowadays I don’t want to fix or get an used one for such high price so yes this suxks

Just download the game bro, and 5 hours a month doesn't sound bad if you only use it to try a game before downloading, it doesnt typically take me 5 hours to know if I want to download a game or not. But I do appreciate that this isn't a good look for Microsoft.

Cloud gaming was one of the worst ideas anyways. You rely on internet only.. and most hotels, or hot spots don’t even provide the speed needed for smooth gaming. This doesn’t bother me at all.

i use cloud gaming for everything, im on xbox one i cloud game series x/s games i buy em full price n dont carei play at least 80 hours a week n stream on twitch.. well looks like a customer lost. gaming is dead anyway with all these paywalls coming cus of gta

Yea but on GeForce you have to buy all the games separately, which if your cloud gaming means on a system/platform you don’t even technically own, and it’s still relatively close in price even though Xbox offers over 100 games to play on it including new releases and xbox/windows games you own

they've absolutely fucked it. as someone who buys game pass in bulk, my pass runs out in February and I won't be getting it again if this stands. I've put up with enough changes and issues, including friends not buying it due to it's cost. they had an absolutely golden opportunity to finally make a comeback after the Xbox one online only rule to now being able to get ahead of sony, but instead they've decided to cash in while they can. may as well just go back to pc gaming at this point and avoid buying the new console.
