I have so many comments/questions, lol. First off, how we can call little boys priests and elders as though they’ve earned this status through time, wisdom and knowledge just baffles me. And how so many people don’t see this as oppressive to women. 😳 Second, when Jesus was crucified the veil in the temple was ripped signifying that he made a way for us to be in the presence of God. I grew up in a church where we were taught we could go “boldly before the throne” because of his sacrifice. That Gods presence is everywhere and accessible to anyone. And third, Satan=evil. Following Satan’s commands=Satanic. How did the creation story get so twisted that Satan is a voice Adam and Eve followed instruction to AND Mormons don’t see that as a problem???

Going through the temple for the first time in 2005, peeking around the room through that veil to see if anyone else thought what was going on was weird is a feeling I won’t ever forget.

Going through the temple as a young undiagnosed AuDHDer was wild!!! I hated it!! It felt SO suffocating, and I had to mask my sensory overwhelm and disgust at strangers - especially old men - touching me. The chanting felt so culty - and now I know why.

I once saw my grandma’s green apron and I was so confused as to (1)what is was and (2)why green was allowed in the temple since I thought only WHITE was allowed in there. Now that you talked about it, I still don’t understand it 😂😂😂😂😂

I remember being so like- WTF😳 when Satan was the main character in the movie they have you sit through & you have to watch it every time you go. I only went to the temple once or twice. hated it deeply but never really questioned it because my entire family & even everyone in my life believed it was true. I was in the church for 40 years- most would have called me a 'jack mormon' though. married at 19- i was even one of those "mormon swingers" you hear about😳 i know, I know.. divorce after 10 years.(all of that feels like someone else life- its weird all the different people ive been in my life! I remarried to a non member, (thank the sweet lord😂) & had a spiritual awakening on my own- propelled me out of every church- no religion ever for me. I really enjoy your videos love & I think you're very brave💗
