@meghannmcuniff: The jury in Lindsay Clancy's trial stopped deliberating a few minutes after 4 p.m. today and will return to the courthouse tomorrow (Friday, September 4) at 9 a.m. Eastern time. Judge William Sullivan convened jurors in his courtroom at 4:10 p.m. and told them he was sending them home for the day. About 30 minutes earlier, he had instructed them about the definition of reasonable doubt after the foreperson said in a note that one juror is not following the law on reasonable doubt. The judge questioned the jurors individually at the bench before he instructed them in open court. Jurors returned to the jury room for further deliberation after the instruction. The judge took the bench again at 4:08 p.m. He told jurors he was "going to do is excuse you until tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock." He did not say they woujld resume deliberations then. Instead, he said he'll "speak to you at that point tomorrow morning." "So remember the instructions that I've given you over and over again. Stay away from any coverage about this. Don't talk about this case, and and I will see everybody tomorrow morning. Okay? Alright," the judge said. Clancy's lawyer Kevin Reddington called for the juror's removal Thursday afternoon. Clancy, 36, was on maternity leave from her job as a labor and delivery nurse when she killed her children, 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan. She is charged with three counts of murder. Jurors can consider manslaughter as a lesser included offense to murder. Her defense is that she’s not guilty because she experiencing postpartum psychosis and did not know what she was doing when she strangled the children with exercise bands in the basement of their home in Duxbury on Jan. 24, 2023. #law #crime #court

It’s such 🐂💩 That juror has repeatedly LIED saying they understand AND will follow his instructions! WTF did they wait 6 days to say they don’t understand?? This isn’t a damn game. Charge them with obstruction and kick them OUT!!! That’s why they have 6 alternates waiting to serve.

So I guess we can't trust women in positions of authority now. if their hormones can make them do crimes like this out of their control, how can we trust female officers with firearms? How can we trust female presidents with nuke codes? How can we trust female maternity ward nurses? This sets women back decades.
