kids have devices at home & access to them - laptops, tablets, cell phones, smart TVs. schools don't need to teach "tech" anymore. it's already integrated into everyday life. as she said, "big tech companies are not education companies." Nobody is saying take away the ability to use computers at school, but there's absolutely no reason to attach it to their hip when it's already happening in most homes.

and totally agree about AI in schools. our kids shouldn't be the guinea pig. figure out HOW to make it truly BENEFICIAL and EDUCATIONAL before just winging it & integrating it. it's so unnecessary at the moment.
