I 100% agree, definitely not letting the kid starve due to a parents negligence. I will however figure out how to hold the parents accountable or maybe help them figure out what the problem might be (do you need food at home?). A starving kid would only make my day more miserable, a full belly helps them stay happier and be ready for a good nap later! I’ve had kids that chose not to eat or eat very little and they would be insufferable lol

In centers usually there is a cut off time due to the federal food program in my experience most of it is older kids though, babies are fed in demand

I can understand not having a full on meal after a certain point, but as a parent I would hope they would at least get a snack that’s sufficient to hold them over until the next mealtime.
