You can pray for a woman who is loyal, loving, nurturing, faithful, feminine, supportive, and committed to God… • But a good woman still needs communication. • She still needs consistency. • She still needs honesty. • She still needs emotional safety. • She still needs accountability and repair when something goes wrong. And she still deserves to feel valued not only when you’re afraid of losing her, but while you still have her. A godly woman isn’t going to be perfect. She will have emotions, needs, boundaries, and moments when she needs grace too. Maybe sometimes the prayer needs to become: “God, make me the kind of person who knows what to do with a good woman when she arrives.” Because receiving a blessing and knowing how to steward one are two different things. And this goes both ways. A woman praying for a godly man should also be preparing herself to love, respect, communicate, repair, and grow beside him.
