Apart from not wanting to say ‘I’m divorced’ why would people get annulled over divorce, it seems like a harder process and I would assume more expensive. And if it’s void does that mean no settlement ? So many questions

Thank you for this information. I am currently in a relationship with a guy who told me that he was single and I found out that he was actually married and has a child. When he got his PR visa he completely changed became abusive and threatened to divorce me. But I am worried as I purchased a house and put his name on it and now I am worried he will take it. I have a kid with him and now I don’t know what to do.
