My FIL used to run one of those lollipop stands on the counter of shops where they operate on the honor system. He said Orange County (affluent area) was the WORST. People would take all the candy and leave no money. Poor neighborhoods always paid.

As a sociologist (who also studied social behaviour at open bookshelves - what the US calls Little Free Libraries), I LOVE the first one. I mean, I hate the results, but this isn't just fun, this is SO SO SO important and should actually first be reproduced in different countries to see if there are differences and then taken into account in politics. Because at the moment at least most North-Western countries see rich people as the best of the best, the thing to strive for and the people politics should endorse. (I don't think it'll change the hearts and minds of politicians, since not only are they oftentimes rich or at least well off themselves, but also already ignored the fact that in studies rich people think they deserve their money and that they didn't have any help in getting rich, even IF what made them rich was clearly and visibly rigged in their favour. But... The more information on the topic, the higher the chance that at least someday small changes can be accomplished.)
